Aram Kay is a San Diego fashion photographer working across commercial campaigns, editorials and portraiture. His approach brings together bold composition, expressive color and precise lighting, with close attention to the person and clothing in every frame.

Fashion Campaigns & Commercial Photography

Campaign photography built around your collection, your audience and the way you want your brand to be seen.

Creative direction establishes the mood of the campaign, bringing casting, wardrobe, location and lighting into one coherent approach. The shoot develops that idea across statement images, full-length fashion, portraits and details of the clothing being worn.

Editorial Fashion Photography

Editorial photography offers space for a more expressive approach to fashion. Styling, gesture, color and setting create the atmosphere, while changes in scale and composition give the story its rhythm.

Clothing, Lookbooks & On-Model E-Commerce

Apparel photography that gives the collection a clear, confident presentation—from designer clothing and streetwear to seasonal lookbooks and online retail.

Lookbook shoots express the collection through styling, location and movement. On-model e-commerce photography concentrates on fit, silhouette, fabric and construction, with consistent lighting and framing across garments and views.

Swimwear & Activewear Photography

Swimwear and activewear photography brings the relationship between body, garment and movement into focus. Direction emphasizes fit and shape while allowing the energy of the collection to come through.

San Diego studio and location shoots can be developed for campaigns, lookbooks and on-model retail imagery. Light, setting and pace are chosen around the brand, whether the collection calls for sculptural stillness or a more active, spontaneous feel.

Modeling Portfolio Photography

A focused portfolio that shows how you move, how you photograph and the range you bring to a brief.

Sessions for emerging and established models are planned around your current book, intended market and any agency requirements. Wardrobe and shot selection give each look a purpose, combining full-length fashion, closer portraits and movement.

Creative Direction, Studio & Location Production

Every project begins with a conversation about the brief, the intended use and the scope of the shoot. From there, the creative approach and production are developed together.

Photography is available in studio and on location throughout San Diego County, from coastal settings to urban architecture and desert landscapes. Location planning considers access, permits, light and timing alongside the creative requirements.

Depending on the assignment, production support can include concept development, casting, styling coordination and crew. Stills and motion can be planned together. Retouching, color finishing, deliverables and licensing are defined in the estimate, with the scope tailored to your project.
